The most common message we receive after lip blush reads: “They’re so bright — is this normal?” Yes. Completely. Here is exactly how the week unfolds.
Days 1–2: bold and plump
Lips look vivid and feel full, like a mild filler appointment. Ice lightly, drink through a straw and keep the barrier balm on. Colour is sitting on the surface — it is not the final result.
Days 3–4: the flake
Tightness gives way to light, dry flaking. Do not pick — let it shed naturally and keep balm handy. Underneath, the colour will look surprisingly pale. That ghost phase is normal.
Days 5–7: the bloom
Flaking finishes and the true blush pushes back through the skin, softer and rosier each day. By week three the colour fully settles, and at week eight we perfect it.
Avoid spicy food, long hot showers on the face, swimming and kissing on healing lips for the first week. After that — lipstick optional, compliments guaranteed.
